There are two main categories of THC edible products. Non-psychoactive edibles fall between a quarter and one-half of a cup and contain only THC and CBD. While the psychoactive component can still be detected in these types of the edibles it is very rare and only present in very small amounts. These types of edibles are not recommended for people who have a history of or predisposition for drug abuse or addiction.

Overall, most manufacturers of THC and CBD edibles are advertising their products as low THC or even non THC. However, no matter what the labeling says, it is important to keep in mind that no matter what the label says, the product must meet the guidelines set forth by Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA does not regulate the amount of THC and CBD in any THC and CBD products, however they do regulate the ingredient’s concentration in the product.
